Water-Based Vinyl & Leather Cleaner
A thorough but gentle cleaning is the first step to restoring leather or vinyl. Pigmented, full-grain, top-grain and corrected-grain leather, as well as synthetics like faux leather, bonded leather and vinyl, must be cleansed of dirt, oil, grease, silicone, wax and other conditioners prior to repair and restoration. Start with rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol to remove oil and wax-based residue. A water-based cleaner will do the rest. We recommend a 1:1 solution of white vinegar and water for semi-aniline or aniline leather.
