Espresso Vinyl & Leather Dye
Espresso coffee colored paint restores and conditions vinyl or leather furniture. It won’t peel, crack, flake, or stain clothing and is anti-UV.
Espresso is a dark chocolate color. It is similar to Mahogany, but is distinctly less red when viewed in bright sunlight.
Changing the color of bonded leather or ultraleather is strongly discouraged due to the unstable nature of these materials.
Espresso corrects fading, discoloration, stains, and minor scuffs on leather and vinyl while adding UV protection. Dilute it withClear Prep+Finish to make a glaze for use on aniline or multi-toned leather. Espresso permeates leather and vinyl, behaving more like a stain and less like a paint. Application is easy and versatile with a sponge, brush, or spray gun. It will not rub off on clothing once dried. Do not get wet until fully cured. Each bottle comes with an extra-long stir stick and gloves. Sponge not included.

Watched video how to apply and it worked great on a synthetic "leather" couch. The finish had worn from a brown to an orange and after several layers, blended in perfectly. Thank you!

I have used your Ivory leather dye and the espresso die and the prep and finish. I am so incredibly impressed with your products! They made it to dingy white couches look practically brand new and repaired ugly scratches That were all over the seat cushions of my dark brown couch and have restored it to mint condition! And lastly I died a chair and ottoman with the espresso to match my couch and they look like they came from the same store! Fantastic product super easy to use and lots of help when I call to figure out how to do these projects. Thank you

I have to admit, I had my doubts. My in-laws had a beautiful leather couch and love seat but unfortunately they were royal blue. My son bought his first house and but wasn't interested in the color choice. It was either try out the Rub n Restore or donate to charity. The product worked wonderfully! I chose the espresso color and it turned out a beautiful dark brown with a little gray tint. Beautiful and you saved my son thousands!

I was so apprehensive to start the process of changing my livingroom set from burgundy to espresso. The bottles sat on my counter for more than a week before I convinced my self to do it. Once I started I couldn't believe how easy it was. I kept reading and rereading the brocher to make sure I wasn't missing steps. Nope! It was so easy and the results are amazing. If you can use a sponge you can do this!!
Awesome Coverage - So EASY

I bought a used light grey leather couch - got it home and decided it did not look right with our carpet and wall color. Googled how to change color of a leather and found Rub and Restore. It was so simple and easy. 2 coats and I am in love with my new Expresso Brown Leather Couch!
Excellent coverage & color

New Old Sofa!

I can’t say enough good about your products. I looked for 3 solid weeks to try and find a new leather couch and just couldn’t stand the thought of giving up our comfortable 25 year old couch. I actually bought 3 couches and cancelled them before they were delivered. There were various reasons why they wouldn’t work for us. I felt like Goldie Locks; this one was too little, this one had bad reviews, this one would stain really easy, and none were as comfortable as our old sofa. Then, I learned of the possibility that our old couch could be restored. I did a long research for the best product and yours seemed like the best solution. Love that it is water based and I didn't have to remove the couch from the room or have harmful vapors in the air.
I also fixed a few rips in the leather after applying the first coat. And since we had zippered cushions, I was able to add thin pieces of foam that I cut from an old camping mat and tucked them in behind the back pillows and underneath the end reclining seats. This plumped out the seats perfectly.
When I started out I said out loud “This is a joke, this is ridiculous!” because it just didn’t seem like it was working very well. Then, I remembered that you said to be patient and apply more coats until the color covered well. Then, after about the 3rd coat, I said, “Oh my gosh, this really is working…I can’t believe it!” I applied 5 coats total and one coat of sealer and it looks fantastic. It only took about maybe 10 hours total to do it and now I am one of your new best advocates!
We just couldn't be happier with our old/new sofa! Thanks so much. You were so helpful too when I had questions. You were right, our friends just can’t believe its our old sofa!

I was pretty skeptical about this product on how well it would actually work. But it did AWESOME!!!!! I'm so excited for how good it did. My parents bought these real leather couches 19 years ago. Well I wanted them and wanted to see if I could get them back to their original color. Well it WORKED!!!!! They were almost a red worn out color now they are back to a dark brown and I'm so excited!!

First try with your products, cannot believe this as is simple as stated, but: it IS! Espresso dye over hunter/teal Natuzzi leather. Notes: sprayer better option, and I did not use as was my first try; furniture with pleats and tucks are more of a challenge. 3 1/2 hrs, start to finish. Will be back for more. Thanks!

Although my sectional is bonded leather and it's NOT recommended for it since I had nothing to loose (it was ugly looking already) I decided to give it a try. This product worked really well. It gave my sectional a better looking surface. It has been only a month and it hasn't peeled or rub in our clothes. My husband wants me to buy more and save it for future needs. The smell is strong for 2 days and then is just GONE COMPLETELY. Even my dogs lay in the sectional without any problems. I love it!!

Works perfectly. It does take several coats to hide a worn spot etc but it works. Be very careful with the material so it doesnt stain anything other than your couch. Instructions are very very helpful.
Bring your furniture back to life with Rub 'n Restore!!

I recently gave my couch and loveseat a major face lift using the Espresso stain and I love it!! These two pieces of furniture were sent to the basement because I didn't like the look of the leather. The colour had changed and the seat area looked worn. The leather was in good shape, it didn't have any tears or scratches. So I thought just go for it.. I ordered online it was super simple and I received great customer service ordering online and when I've contacted Rub 'n Restore on Facebook. I've shown co-workers, friends and family my before and after photos and they were amazed. I highly recommend this product. It was so simple to use and the clean up was easy..

I was very pleased with the results I received using Expresso dye. I had a few tears to fix and I wasn't confident I could get the colour right because I was only dyeing sections but the blend was great and the final result is excellent.

I love your products! After finding you on youtube and watching several videos multiple times, I ordered the supplies I needed to repair our torn couch. This was my first attempt ever at leather repair. I am very pleased with the results! I used espresso. Thanks!

I am an artist and i have done a lot of restorations with a lot of products and polyurethane and paints. This product is off the charts amazing (I bought cherrywood, buttercup, and espresso colors). It doesn't have noxious odors, doesn't stain anything except what it's supposed to stain, is completely brush - stroke forgiving, doesn't ruin my clothes, a project can be finished in a day....I could go on for pages! I will send my photos too but I just couldn't wait to say something because I am so happy I tried this product. Thank you!!! I think that's what I am trying to say, just Thank You!!!
