Our leather repair kit includes FC1 Soft Filler compound, application tools, sandpaper, and instructions to repair cracking or torn leather or vinyl.
Each kit comes with:
- tub of FC1 Soft Filler (select the size needed)
- plastic palette knife
- smoothing card
- one sheet each of 220, 320, and 500 grit wet-or-dry sandpaper
- repair instructions
- pair of gloves
A 1 oz. tub is typically enough to repair a 1 in. x 1 ft. hole that requires a few layers of fill plus a layer of texturizing. Or it can do two thin layers on a 2 ft. x 2 ft. section of scaly, rough leather. Opt for the 2 oz. size for larger areas of damage.
Subpatch Kit is sold separately and is necessary if your leather is torn, and the substrate is exposed!
FC1 Soft Filler is non-toxic and water-based!

Pretty good results

We had 3 fairly good size holes in one of our leather sofas and I was able to repair the holes using the subpatches and the filler. I used the entire container of filler and did 3-4 layers each. Was never able to get it to look perfectly smooth even after much sanding but with the dye, it is substantially better and we won't have to splurge on a new set yet. Thanks!

I use this stuff to mend my sofa which is already torn here and there... plus the Subpatch...
The outcome is really amazing.
I do not need to dispose of my sofa, yet, it looks all good again!

A little tricky to use. Left lines, even after sanding. I think I will need to rework this. I'm a novice, so more experienced people get better results, I'm sure.
