I didnt get great service.. but I did get an email saying they refunded 50 percent of cost.
I really dont know what to say about the product, it wasnt given a chance
Despite being outside the realm of our money-back guarantee, we refunded the cost of the product (but not the international shipping) as a courtesy. We're sorry this remains dissatisfactory to you. We suggest you call a local pro and pay a couple thousand dollars to get the result you desire.
The color matched perfectly and it just took a small amount!
Thank you SO much!!!
I didn't like the Leather Max British tan color and thought I’d ruined it. When I asked Leather Max for advice, they didn't understand what I was doing. Instead I submitted Rub ’n Restore’s project evaluation. Your advice was perfect.
Lesandre suggested I thin out the Leather Max with a green scrubber and some sand paper as well as denatured alcohol, and then applied an extremely watered down coat of the Leather Max to the entire couch to create a uniform base coat before applying your honey color. I did use the Clear prep and finish after I was done with the glaze, just as a topcoat, as it really picked up the color.
I couldn't have done it without your support. Everyone who has seen it and sat in it says it looks and feels like a new couch! Can’t wait to tackle more.
Minutes to apply a second coat and another 20 for a third one. After that, next day I applied three more coats with the same time gap.
The result ……excellent. It was exactly the same color of the chair. I’m very satisfied with this product. I haven’t used the sofa yet.
My husband and I just remodeled his office since most of his classes are online now. We decided he needed a real office chair.
We considered getting rid of it, but I could not part with it. I got a quote from a local furniture restoration shop. They said it couldn’t be restored. They could reupholster it for $1500.
I found Rub 'n Restore online with a product that promised to restore it to almost new.
I cleaned it, applied the first coat of the leather restoring product (camel), but the color was not even close.
I contacted the company and they sent me two leather samples and directions on how to mix two colors to get the color I wanted (honey). I mixed cognac with the camel to get a honey color.
TA DA!!! Dad’s chair looks like new. Total cost $80 compared to $1500.
