 OUR POLICY

Orders received before noon MST on weekdays (excluding holidays) are usually shipped same-day. This is not a guarantee. If you have any doubt or need it expedited, please contact us.

As soon as we ship your order, you will receive an automated email with your tracking number. The day your order ships does not count toward transportation time. For example, UPS 2nd Day Air shipped on Thursday will not arrive until the following Monday (unless Monday is a holiday). 

If you cancel your order before it has shipped, we will refund the full amount of the order. All other returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please read our return policy

 

CARRIERS

Most domestic orders are shipped US Postal Service Priority Mail unless otherwise requested.

We use UPS to ship larger packages (over 8 lbs.) and all Canadian and international orders.

If you have a preference or special instructions, please leave a note in the comment section during checkout or contact us.

 

FREE SHIPPING & RATES

To qualify for free shipping, your order must meet a certain minimum based upon its destination:

  • $45 order minimum for USA destinations
  • $100 order minimum for Canadian destinations

Color analysis or customization fees and sales tax do not count toward free shipping minimums.

Expedited shipping options are available. 

 

SHIPPING QUOTES

To calculate a shipping quote, please add the desired products to your shopping cart (each color has a different weight which affects the quote). Click on "View or Edit Cart". Underneath the subtotal, click on the button "Estimate Shipping & Tax". Enter your country, state/province, and postal code, and the system will give you a quote.

 

CANADIAN CUSTOMERS

Rub 'n Restore® is an "arts and crafts" item, and all our products are made in the USA and registered with NAFTA. Nevertheless, the Canadian government may levy duties and taxes. We encourage Canadian customers to check with the Canada Border Services Agency to determine how much will be assessed. Rub 'n Restore®, Inc. is not responsible for these duties or taxes.
 
Be wary of shipping to a business, as CBSA and UPS will assume the products are for commercial use and not personal use. This may increase the duties and taxes.

If you opted for free shipping (Canada Standard), UPS assumes power-of-attorney for individual buyers (not businesses). This means they assess you a brokerage fee for doing what you can do yourself at your local CBSA office. These brokerage fees are included with all express/expedited shipments. For orders under C$200, there is a flat-rate brokerage fee of $10 for individual buyers. 
 
You can avoid the brokerage fee if you contact UPS, give them the tracking number, and say you choose to clear the goods yourself with CBSA, thereby refusing their accounting/brokering services. When you visit your local CBSA office, be sure to provide them with specific details, including the courier (UPS), the tracking number, and a description of the goods and their value, so they can correctly assess the goods. This information is usually indicated on the shipment’s invoice, which will be provided to you by UPS. When you have paid the any applicable duties and/or taxes, you will be given an official receipt from CBSA demonstrating that the goods have been accounted for. Present this receipt to UPS at the warehouse where your shipment is stored (usually not far from the CBSA office), and your package will be released to you.
 
 

OTHER INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

 
Customers outside North America should expect to pay US$75-$110 in shipping, not including government taxes. Even so, our international customers find this expense to be well worth the final result and ultimately less costly than reupholstery or replacement.

Rub 'n Restore® is considered an "arts and crafts" item, which is not taxed by many countries, but we encourage all international customers to check with your country's customs office to determine if any additional duties or tariffs will be levied. Rub 'n Restore, Inc. is not responsible for any of these duties or taxes.
