Storm Blue Vinyl & Leather Dye
Storm Blue dye restores and conditions leather or vinyl. Use it on furniture, boats or hot tub covers. Anti-UV and won’t flake, peel, or crack.
Storm Blue is a medium azure color with violet tones.
It conceals stains, fading, discoloration, and scuffs while adding UV protection. Designed for use on vinyl as well as pigmented and bycast leathers, it bonds to leather and vinyl, behaving more like a stain and less like a coating. Storm Blue will not rub off on clothing once dried. Allow to cure before getting wet. Application is easy and fast with a sponge, brush, or spray gun. Each bottle comes with an extra-long stir stick and gloves. Sponge not included.
Changing the color of bonded leather or ultraleather is strongly discouraged due to the unstable nature of these materials.

absolutely blown away!

Very rarely do I take the time to write reviews but I can't resist on this one. I tried selling our old lazy boy because it was the wrong color for our new decor. After that failed, I researched whether I could change the color and found this website. I sent for samples and they came within days. I then ordered the product, planning to work on the chair when I returned from vacation. But it came in within a couple of days, and a project that I expected to work on for hours was completed in about 2 hours total. It turned out awesome!!

This stuff is absolutely unbelievable it made my blue couch look brand new and an old brown leather chair that I picked up for 10 bucks match perfectly I will recommend to anyone who asks it’s so easy to use and I still have left over from an 8 ounce bottle for any touchups that are necessary
Back to the 50s

I had some old brown bar stools that were in my 1950s house when I purchased it. Instead of buying expensive retro bar stools, I decided to try this product. I used the blue and white. I am not artsy or crafty but I followed the very clear directions and got great results! Thanks so much for a product that does what it says

I umm and ahh'ed about buying this but while painstakingly shopping for replacement stools and finding nothing that were up the par with the sturdiness and design of our 20 year old vintage stools we had found on Craiglist without spending $600+. Being newlyweds, it was difficult for us to justify buying new stools when these were completely functional. Meanwhile, I kept rewatching Rub n Restore's YouTube videos.
We are absolutely thrilled with the results of the using Storm Blue. Following the instructions exactly, I changed our stools from a 2 tone mustard color to Storm Blue, using about 5 coats and finishing with Clear Finish. The drying time between coats was maybe 1 minute with a hairdryer. I barely even used a quarter of the bottle and got amazing results. This was so easy to do that my husband asked if I had secretly sent the chairs out for restoration.
The chairs have a new life, hubby is super happy that I didn't spend much and I was thrilled to be able to support a small women's owned business with an amazing product. I can't recommend them enough, they have been so helpful and its rare to receive replies from the CEO, let alone prompt responses. I would never have found them if not for their videos on YouTube. I strongly recommend you try it. Thank you!
30 year old truck seat

I have a 30 year old bench truck seat that was in perfect condition except for some sun fading. The factory color was Storm Blue and the Rub N Restore Storm Blue matched perfectly. I had planned to spend $500-$600 on having a new cover installed but figured I would give the product a try. I'm glad I did because it saved me about $450. Very forgiving if not applied uniformly. I buffed the seat with a clean towel after each coat and applied 7 coats total. Now I'm planning to restore my leather sofa too.

Bought the storm blue and beige. My leather furniture is 11 yrs old and with numerous cleanings the color had worn away looking dirty. I followed the directions and the new colors completely covered the worn areas. The furniture looks new and have received many compliments. The storm blue is not navy but a vivid bright blue which looks great with my southern coastal decor. Used the clear prep and finish and and it made the colors pop with a beautiful shine. Goes a long way so I will be returning the unused bottles. Just try it you can't go wrong.
