Spectacular Results
First and foremost, (unless your color is a primary, i.e. white, black, etc.) I highly recommend you take the time to customize your color. I wanted to restore the vinyl top on my 1988 Rolls Royce. This is not the kind of car you want to screw up a project like this! So I went and got several "paint swatches" from a local big box store and perfectly matched an unfaded section of roof. Sent that swatch in to Lesendra (who's always there to help answer any questions) for a custom color match product, and the rest is beautiful history. After two "rubs" the roof was like new. I’ve just completed my third project and once again I’m thrilled with the result. I snagged a free leather couch off Marketplace. This one was riskier because I found out it was bonded leather after the fact. The previous finish was severely faded in a few areas, but the integrity was good overall.

The color on my 13 year old ivory leather La-Z-Boy recliner was starting to wear through from repeated cleanings, mostly on the headrest. I ordered ivory and marine white dye based on samples of white, ivory and beige that I pre-ordered. The ivory was a bit more yellow than the sample led me to expect, and in hindsight I wish I had ordered the beige as well. I applied 3 coats, refining the color as I went. I added a couple of drops of brown latex paint to the dye to get the color where I wanted it. The latex paint mixed well, and the color match is so close to perfect that unless I were to point it out to someone, you'd never ...More

I've been using it daily for about 2 weeks. Time will tell if it holds up.

Thanks, Christopher, and job well done matching your own color! Drops of latex paint is okay, but in the future, work with water-based universal colorant or acrylic paint. More info is here in our mixing / modifying color instructions.

Easy application with phenomenal results
The color was exactly like the sample, and covered up dog urine stains completely. I finished with the Clear Prep+ Finish Conditioning sealer and the the sheen matched perfectly.

The results speak for themselves
The team at Rub 'n Restore has produced amazing products that can tackle even the harshest vinyl and leather damage. My car's armrest was severely cracked to the point of me considering replacing it. With nothing to lose, I contacted Rub 'n' Restore. Lesandre provide me with guidance on how to approach my project. After a few hours of work, my armrest was restored to my satisfaction. A little more effort on my part and it would have been new again. A truly amazing company, amazing products and fantastic customer service.

The product will come off with water because it is water based, just be aware of that. if you buy this one, you most likely will need a clear coat to prevent it from coming off as much. The customer service of this company is impressive, I was outraged because the paint ruined a shirt of mine when the paint came off from the couch, I was not expecting this after leaving the couch drying for about a week.
after communicating with customer service about the incident, they assisted me without hesitation and help me deal with the issue.

Don’t waste your money!!!!
This ruined my expensive couch . I got the $70 bottle did many coats but the color ruined my whole couch ..
Reply from lesandre:
Changing color from a darker brown to off white is a challenge that sometimes requires double or triple the volume of color and is generally discouraged. We suggest working with a grey primer OR choosing a slightly darker shade that would get better coverage in fewer coats. That said, leather is a tough fiber, much like wood, and can be refinished and stripped many times. A good result is still possible, and we'd be happy to help you achieve it.
